Yonder Songwriter Showcase

Every third Wednesday Kirk Ridge brings the Triangle’s most talented singer/songwriters to Yonder.
November’s songwriters are:

Jodi Jones
Jodi was born in a small mill town in the foothills of west-central Pennsylvania and raised in the same house as her great-grandmother. This informally trained mountain musician possesses an intimate familiarity with the past & a rare but tangible connection to bygone years.

Kim LaneKim has been a poet since she was very young, then grew up to become a singer-songwriter and a co-host of WHUP’s Pass the Hat. As far as she’s concerned, it’s never too late to do your thing, so she does just that.

Cara ValentiCara is a singer, songwriter, and music educator. She’s been performing for most of her life but has just recently started writing and sharing her own songs. Equally comfortable across genres, Cara’s songs are all connected by her intimate storytelling and powerful, distinctive vocals.
