Yonder Songwriter Showcase

Every third Wednesday Kirk Ridge brings the Triangle’s most talented singer/songwriters to Yonder for an intimate evening of original music and stories.

Kirk Ridge has had songs featured on NPR’s Car Talk and Belfast’s Celtic Roots Radio and was highlighted on the 2020 NCNPR Tiny Desk show. His lyrics have been published in American Songwriter Magazine. Kirk co-hosts the weekly “Pass The Hat” radio show on WHUP that features live original music

Norah Jean is an emerging singer-songwriter from Durham, NC. At only 18 years old, her songwriting takes on a profound and metaphoric view of the world that surrounds her. Norah’s sound blends modern pop, classic rock, and poetic lyrics in a way that is uniquely her own..

Isabel Valls is a singer-songwriter whose foundation in 60s and 70s acoustic folk music informs her musical style – personal, yet universal and relatable. Isabel’s sophomore album (produced by Jon Shain and recorded at F.J. Ventre’s studio) reached number 15 on the Folk Radio chart in June 2019.
