Songwriters Over Yonder - July

Monthly on the 3rd Wednesday Kirk Ridge brings the Triangle’s most talented singer/songwriters to Yonder for an intimate evening of original music and stories.

Join us at Yonder for an acoustic session with Jason Bales, Mitch Cantor, and John Prince.

Jason Bales is one half of the songwriting duo behind Durham-based alt-twang group The Yardarm. Prior to starting The Yardarm in 2017, he was a founding member of Lansing, MI-based Flatfoot. He’s played across North Carolina and Michigan both as a band member and solo performer.

Mitch Cantor writes and performs unique and offbeat songs. A Grammy nominee via his Gadfly Records label, Cantor is currently completing his stage musical “The Decomposeurs,” which includes his original songs, along with those of others.

John Prince is a Durham-based singer/songwriter, producer, and concert promoter. He is the lead singer/guitarist and founding member the trio Checkerboard Suede. His new album, “Funky Blues and Rock n’ Roll,” will be released later this year.
