Rockabilly, Neo-Rockabilly, Hillbilly, Jump Blues, Swing … One of the finest things about the Straight 8s is their ability to cover a lot of ground within their genre. From traditionally styled numbers to barn burners, old country to jazz, the 8s manage to keep it feeling fresh, relevant, and braised in just the right blend of nostalgic juices. NOT a cover band, NOT an oldies act, but a truly unique trio who works hard to write, record, and perform music that resonates with listeners drawn to the raw energy embodied in traditional rockabilly music while still wandering freely outside the prescribed boundaries.
