Jim Watson's Christmas Show

‘Tis the season to be jolly, so break out your favorite holiday sweater and join us on Thursday, December 19 and sing along with all of your favorite Christmas songs.

Jim Watson is known not only for his instrumental prowess but also for his direct singing style in a distinctive tenor voice. He has released a number of solo albums, including a recording of the 26th Annual Christmas show at the Cave, plus band albums with Craver, Hicks, Watson & Newberry, with fiddler Alan Jabbour and Ken Perlman, and a new release with the Piedmont Melody Makers, which includes music legend Alice Gerrard.

He started doing a Christmas show in 1986 in Chapel Hill; it is now a beloved community tradition. This will be his 15th consecutive Christmas show in Hillsborough. He will sing a full set of holiday favorites and then end with a celebratory sing-along.
