SECRET MONKEY WEEKEND + KATIE RAE + THE CATZ

Secret Monkey Weekend is a power pop trio from Durham, produced by REM-Smithereens producer Don Dixon. They were profiled by PBS awhile back in a fifteen minute piece. It won an Emmy! The band goes back a decade when Lila was 8 and Ella was 13. For the last 9 years, they have cut their teeth in music venues up and down the East Coast. Their first tour took them from Mississippi to New York this past August and were featured on CNN

THE CATZ

The Catz are a five-person cover band out of Hillsborough, NC. Though they throw in an original here and there, they primarily cover treasured classics from bands and artists including The Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Dolly Parton, and Sublime, as well as new hits from the likes of Lola Young and Olivia Dean.
