2:30 BIG CELTIC FUN
Big Celtic Fun, from Chapel Hill, NC is seeking the eternal quest for “The Big Fun” from the music of Ireland, Scotland, New England and Canada. The band consists of Eileen Regan (fiddle, vocals), Tim Smith (flute, tin whistle, piano, English concertina), percussion whiz Drew Pilant, and when we are lucky, a variety of special guests such as Jeff Engel (guitar/bouzouki), Scott Walker (guitar/fiddle/cello), Rob Sharer (guitar/flute/whistle/you name it), or Will McCanless (guitar/banjo). The band has played for contra dances and festivals and all kinds of private events, and features driving traditional instrumentals, lovely singing of mostly Irish and Scottish songs by Eileen and an occasional original song from Tim.

5:00 BOGTURTLE BAND
BogTurtle Band is an Irish folk-rock, Celtic fusion and Irish traditional music group featuring vocals, violin, guitar, tin whistle, bodhran and other percussion instruments. We are a fun and high energy group that keeps the audience clapping and singing along on many of our songs.

7:30 PAMLICO

Pamlico plays the songs and tunes of Ireland and Appalachia.  Chris Grenfell fiddles.  John Moore plays guitar and accordion.  Jake Thorne plays banjo and flute.  Pamlico plays high-energy hornpipes, jigs and hoedowns.   They sing ancient ballads and rowdy drinking songs.
