Songwriters Over Yonder

Every third Wednesday Kirk Ridge brings the Triangle’s most talented singer/songwriters to Yonder for an intimate evening of original music and stories.

Kirk Ridge has had songs featured on NPR’s Car Talk and Belfast’s Celtic Roots Radio and was highlighted on the 2020 NCNPR Tiny Desk show. His lyrics have been published in American Songwriter Magazine. Kirk co-hosts the weekly “Pass The Hat” radio show on WHUP that features live original music

Audrey Smith is a multi-genre singer-songwriter from North Carolina, living and working in New Orleans for the last decade. She writes music from the heart with songs and stories that reflect the tradition of wise simplicity and humor in country, folk, and bluegrass music.

Leah Kaufman has been reviewed as “delightful singing and playing.” Her newest album, ‘Midnight Refrain’, moves across genres, entrancing listeners with a Cole Porter-inspired love ballad, toe-tapping finger-style hobo blues, to the funny and poignant ‘Postcards from Dog Heaven’.
