Jack Herrick is a long-time member of the Red Clay Ramblers. Author, composer, and lyricist he has written for numerous off-Broadway and regional theater productions, including Playmakers Repertory Company. Jack won a 1999 Tony award for the Broadway production of “Fool Moon”.
Bob Vasile‘s musical roots are in British Isles traditional music. He was the founding member, with Jane Peppler, of the North Carolina group the Pratie Heads (1980-1989). Bob and Jane currently perform with Jack Herrick of the Red Clay Ramblers in a British Isles/Americana trio called Duck Duck Goose.
Kirk Ridge has had songs featured on NPR’s Car Talk and Celtic Roots Radio. His lyrics have been published in American Songwriter Magazine, and he is performance director for Durham CenterFest. Kirk co-hosts the weekly “Pass The Hat” radio show on WHUP and produces songwriters’ events statewide.
